Spring is almost over. That means baseball is in full swing. The Angels have been heating up faster than the weather in Anaheim! To recover from your carb induced comma, join in the 16th Annual Downtown Anaheim Northgate Market 5K Run on Saturday, June 13. The run starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. in the Downtown Anaheim area and finishes on Center Street Promenade. Children can also join in on the fun by participating in the McDonald's Children's 5K Run (ages 12 and under) at 7:40 a.m. and the Amica 1K Kids’ Fun Run (ages 11 and under) at 9 a.m. The 5K gives partial proceeds to benefit Growth Opportunities through Athletics, Learning & Service (GOALS), a youth-serving nonprofit organization based in Anaheim that serves under served children.
